For this collection, we use #FormosanMichelia, which is a hard, heavy, and fine-textured wood with a darker color tone that echoes the mountain in this painting. The design concept of this watch frame is inspired by the waving mountain and a horse’s curvy back. When touching this watch, it feels like caressing a horse on its back. idodan’s #logo adapts to light grey to fade into the sky.

國立歷史博物館藏《馬》(館藏編號26883)為常玉(1901-1966)作品之一;馬是常玉畫作中經常出現的動物,有的成雙、有的孤獨,多數都畫在空曠的原野天地間,似乎這個動物即是畫家本人的主體投射,也可能是喚起父親擅長畫馬的記憶。此作可見一黑一白的兩匹馬兒置身於冷清疏離的畫面中,黃色的大地以及米白色的天空構成主要的背景,綴以棕褐色的遠山與近石,使畫面顯得不過於單調。就構圖上,作者採用大、小的對比方式來處理,使得作品隱約透露出一絲絲的空虛寂寞。
常玉出生於中國四川順慶(1935年改名南充),自幼在故鄉隨父親習畫,之後向書法家趙熙(1867-1948)習字,1921年因「勤工儉學」計畫前往巴黎,是早期留法學習藝術創作的中國畫家之一。他的作品融合了中國與西方藝術特色,經常利用簡潔有力的線條、造形與輪廓呈現獨特的個人風格,繪畫造形簡練、色彩單純,裸女、植物花卉、有動物的風景為其三大創作主題。

His works combine Chinese and Western art features, often using simple and powerful lines, shapes and contours to present a unique personal style.
